How to Clean & Maintain Crema Marfil Worktops

Crema Marfil's warm ivory tone and delicate golden-beige veining make it one of the most versatile, timeless choices in the collection, equally at home in a kitchen or a bathroom.

Clean Crema Marfil with a soft cloth and warm water or pH-neutral stone soap, buffing dry to avoid mineral spotting on its warm ivory tone. Avoid bleach, vinegar and lemon juice, blot spills such as coffee or wine rather than wiping, and reseal every 6 to 12 months.

Daily cleaning

A soft cloth and warm water, or a pH-neutral stone soap for a deeper clean, handles most everyday marks. Buff dry after cleaning to avoid mineral spotting.

What to avoid

The usual culprits, bleach, vinegar, lemon juice, and ammonia-based cleaners, etch the surface. On a warm-toned stone like Crema Marfil, an etch mark often shows as a slightly lighter, chalky patch against the ivory base, easy to notice once you know what to look for, so it's worth wiping up anything acidic without delay.

Spill response

Coffee, wine, and citrus are the biggest everyday risks. Blot rather than wipe anything that might spread, and clean the area with a stone-safe cleaner once it's lifted.

Resealing

Reseal every 6-12 months, more often for a busy kitchen worktop, less for a lower-traffic vanity. The water-bead test is a reliable way to check without guessing.

Crema Marfil's warmth works in almost any room, and it asks for nothing more than the same routine care as any natural marble.
