Process & Timeline
Start with our Quote Builder: pick your stone, product, edge and finish, then share your details. We'll follow up with an accurate quotation, then arrange templating at your property once you're ready to proceed. From there, your piece is fabricated to the template's exact measurements and installed by our team.
It varies with the project, but as a general guide: quotation within one working day, templating booked once you confirm, then typically 1-3 weeks from template to installation depending on the material and your chosen finish. We'll give you a clear timeline as part of your quotation.
Yes. Natural stone varies from slab to slab, so for bespoke and larger pieces we're happy to arrange for you to see your specific slab before fabrication begins.
Templating is where we take an exact, millimetre-precise measurement of your space, usually with your units already fitted and sink/hob in place. This is your last chance to confirm layout, joint positions and edge details. Once templating is signed off, the piece is cut to those exact measurements, so changes after this point may involve additional cost.

Pricing & Payment
Every piece of natural stone and every project is different, so a fixed online price wouldn't be accurate. Instead, we prepare a real quotation based on your chosen material, product, dimensions and finish, so what you're quoted is what you pay.
Your quote reflects the stone you choose, the size and shape of the piece, the edge profile and finish, plus any cut-outs (sinks, hobs, taps) and installation. We'll break this down clearly when we send your quotation.
Typically a deposit to confirm your order and book templating, with the balance due before or on installation. We'll confirm the exact terms with your quotation.
Material & Care
All three are popular for surfaces, but they behave differently. Marble is a natural stone prized for its veining and softness of tone, but it's more porous and softer than granite. Granite is a harder, less porous natural stone. Quartz is engineered (natural stone bound with resin), which makes it non-porous and very consistent in colour. Each suits different rooms and different tolerances for care. See our full comparison of natural marble vs. engineered stone.
Marble is genuinely beautiful, and plenty of people choose it for kitchens. But it's honest to say it's softer and more porous than granite or quartz, so it can mark from acidic spills (like lemon or wine) if left unsealed and un-wiped. With a proper seal and reasonable care, a lot of that risk goes away, and many customers feel the character it brings is worth it. We'll always talk you through what to expect for your specific use case, so you can decide with the full picture, not just the highlight reel.
Wipe spills promptly, especially anything acidic. Clean with a soft cloth and a pH-neutral stone cleaner rather than bleach or vinegar. We recommend resealing periodically: more often on heavily used surfaces like kitchen islands, less on lower-traffic pieces like a bathroom vanity.
We cut multi-piece worktops from the same slab wherever possible, so veining flows naturally from one piece to the next. Where your project spans more than one slab, we source consecutively cut material for the closest possible match.

An undermount sink sits beneath the worktop, so the stone's edge is visible right up to the sink, for a clean, seamless look. An inset (or drop-in) sink sits on top of the worktop with a visible rim. We'll talk you through which suits your setup at templating.
In most cases, yes. Minor chips and scratches can usually be repaired on-site by a skilled fabricator. If you ever have a concern, just get in touch and we'll advise.
